First Day of School 2013

The boys went back to school today. We officially have two full-timers now, Kindergarten and 2nd Grade. Where has the time gone?

Here are a couple of obligatory first day of school mug-shots. They both opted to show off their of love of Star Wars. I think they spent most of the summer learning every character and what their specific skills were and watching every movie too.

They were both very excited to tell us all about their days and can't wait to go back tomorrow. Here's looking forward to a great school year!!

Happy 7th Birthday!!

WOW! I can't believe that Julian is 7!!! (I also can't believe that it has taken me over a week to get this post up, oops!) He had a great day; presents, swimming lessons, Despicable Me 2, dinner and birthday cake. It was a very busy day, but a lot of fun.

Birthday Parties - Part 2

This year the boys decided to have their friend birthday parties together this year at Lawrence Gymnastics. I highly recommend them for kid's parties, they pretty much take care of everything so you can enjoy the party too.

The kids all got to run around and play and then it was time for cupcakes and presents. (Star Wars party details here.)

Birthday Parties - Part 1

The boys had two birthday parties over one weekend last month. The first one was their family party. We opted to have everyone over to our place this year and I tried out a camo theme, thanks to Pinterest for the inspiration on that one! (Details on the cupcakes are here.)

Happy 5th Birthday!!

My baby Kaleb is 5! I can't believe it! He got to pick what we did on his day, he chose going out to lunch and then bowling. 

We started the day by getting his birthday cake mixed up and in the oven.

That was followed by opening and playing with his new presents. (Unfortunately, I didn't realize my battery was dead in my camera until I tried to take pictures that morning, so I had to take his gift opening pics with my iPhone. Not ideal, but at least we have pictures.)

Then we were off to lunch and a couple of games of bowling. He had a great time and bowled pretty well.

Later that evening we lit up the candles and enjoyed the tasty cake we made that morning.

Happy Birthday Kaleb!! We love you sssssssssssoooooooooooo much!!!!!!!!!!

T-Ball Opening Day

Kaleb is playing t-ball this year, and the season is officially underway. He has been talking about it for a while and could barely contain his excitement leading up to his first practice and game.

Last Day of School 2013

We officially have a 2nd Grader and a Kindergartener in the house now! Where has the time gone? They are looking forward to playing outside and swimming a ton this summer. And, getting to stay up later!

Julian had a field day yesterday to celebrate the end of the school year. I was a little chilly and windy for my liking, but the kids all had a great time!

Kaleb had his Pre-K class picnic this morning. We got to eat breakfast out on the playground and then all the kids got certificates for "graduating" from Pre-School.
